Fieldays 2026: Event map changes

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates to our event map, made to accommodate growing demand and enhance the overall experience for both exhibitors and visitors. These changes are thoughtfully designed to strengthen our core indoor and outdoor agricultural exhibition, with every decision made with our customers in mind.

We’re committed to ensuring Fieldays remains a world-class event—one that continues to attract local and international business visitors, rural enthusiasts from town and country, and proudly supports New Zealand’s primary industries.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the event!

Fieldays Pantry Outdoor area expansion

The Fieldays Pantry Outdoor area is set to grow!

This expansion will provide more space for exhibitors to showcase their New Zealand made offerings and improve visitor flow through this popular area.

Heavy Equipment, Motor Vehicle & Leisure Craft areas expansion

To keep up with the increasing interest at Fieldays from Exhibitors and visitors in heavy equipment, motor vehicles, and leisure craft, we are expanding these high-traffic areas. This layout will make it easier to explore a wider range of products, in one convenient location.

Rural Living Outdoor area expansion

This area has become a destination for everything related to rural lifestyle, home essentials, and outdoor living, and the increased space will allow for a wider selection of displays tailored to our visitors' needs and expectations.

New Coffee Vendor criteria & pricing structure

We’re excited to introduce a dedicated Coffee Vendor category for Fieldays 2026, designed to better support barista coffee exhibitors and improve coffee quality across the event.

Why the change?
Coffee vendors typically operate in smaller spaces and face different cost structures than food vendors. To reflect this, we’ve developed a separate pricing model and criteria tailored to their needs.

Key Updates:
New Criteria: ‘Coffee Vendors’ must offer barista-made coffee as their primary product.
Flexible Site Options: Eligible vendors may apply for multiple coffee sites and also register as a Food Vendor.

New Pricing Model: A revised base fee now starts at 9m² (previously 18m²), with scalable pricing for larger setups.

Power Upgrade: All barista coffee vendors will be able to select up to a 32amp Single phase connection as part of their standard site provisions.

More details and pricing structure to come in October with the release of the 2026 Exhibitor Prospectus.

Updated Process for ordering power - Food and Coffee Vendors only

Food and Coffee Vendors: Updated Power Ordering Process

We’re making it easier—and safer—for food vendors to get the power they need at Fieldays 2026.

What’s New?

  • Food vendors will now select their power connection during site acceptance, rather than completing a separate Power & Water Form.
  • They can now choose a 32amp single-phase connection as their free standard option. This is a major change from previous years and gives vendors more flexibility to match their actual equipment needs.
  • Additional power connections can still be purchased if required.

Why This Matters

These changes are designed to:

  • Reduce equipment damage caused by incorrect plug use.
  • Prevent power outages from overloaded boards.
  • Eliminate last-minute disputes over unbudgeted power costs.

Protecting infrastructure

To protect infrastructure and ensure safe setups, a new clause has been added to the Exhibiting Terms & Conditions. It prohibits connecting lower-rated plugs (e.g. 16A) into higher-rated sockets (e.g. 32A) unless certified by a licensed electrician. Refer to Clause 22.8(b) in the Fieldays Exhibiting Terms and Conditions for full details. Non-compliant setups may be disconnected immediately, and exhibitors may be liable for any resulting damage or disruption.
