1:00pm | Rural Health Q&A with Minister Matt Doocey | Minister Matt Doocey (Minister Mental Health, Assoc Minister of Health – Rural) accompanied by Minister Mark Patterson (Minister of Rural Communities) and Dr Grant Davidson, CEO of Hauora Taiwhenua Rural Health Network will be hosting a panel to discuss the current situation for health in rural New Zealand and future plans to enhance rural health outcomes. This is an extension of the current series of Rural Health Roadshows that Minister Doocey is running in 12 rural towns throughout New Zealand. Ministers Doocey and Patterson will both begin the session with short addresses to the audience, and then be open to questions, concerns and possible solutions from the public. The session will start at 1pm on Thursday 12th of June in the Hauora Taiwhenua Health and Wellbeing Hub. |
