Fieldays Innovation Early-Stage Award
The cut-off for applications for the 2024 Awards was 1pm Wednesday 24 April 2024.
2024 Early-Stage prize package:
- $10,000 cash sponsored by Fieldays
- Machine learning kit to get started with exciting computer vision, IoT and other experiments and a session with an expert at AWS who will help you get started prototyping, and give you advice on accessing AWS support programmes sponsored by AWS
- Product Development and Delivery Services to the value of $7,000 sponsored by Gait International
- Mentoring, support and other benefits (with access to the Accelerator if appropriate) up to the value of $5,000 sponsored by Sprout Agritech
2024 Early-Stage Entry Criteria:
- The innovation must have application in the Food & Fibre sector
- The innovation has not been commercialised for more than 12 months (since June 2023)
- This category is open to international entrants
Food and Fibre Sector refers to: Dairy, Meat & Wool, Forestry, Horticulture - including Viticulture, Seafood - including Aquaculture and Fishing, Arable, and Agri Tech - including Food Tech and Green Tech.

Early-Stage entry fees
Entry and Fieldays Innovation Hub site - $1,500 plus GST
Entry only (if you already have a Fieldays site to exhibit at) - $700 plus GST
Fees are invoiced after you are accepted into the Awards.
These fees include:
- 8 x 1-day passes - these can either be allocated as 1-day or 4-day passes, and you can purchase additional tickets as required.
- A Starter directory listing. There will be an opportunity to upgrade these listings and increase your exposure
- Two complimentary tickets to the Innovation Awards event.
The Innovation Hub site includes:
- A 3m wide x 3m deep site footprint within the Fieldays Innovation Hub, with the following provided:

Fieldays Young Innovator of the Year Award
Special recognition is also given to younger innovators, with an award for the Fieldays Young Innovator of the year.
All entrants in any category who are 19 years old and younger can indicate they would like to also be considered for this award, and could win $2,000.
