With innovation as one of Fieldays' founding principles and at the heart of the event, the 2013 Innovation Centre will showcase New Zealand's groundbreaking developments to the world.
Products Displayed in this area are exposed to over 120,000 visitors and worldwide media.

Rural Bachelor of the Year Competition
The winner will take home over $23,000 in prizes
This year the competition will consist of eight finalists (six Kiwis and two Australians) who will be flown to a mystery location on Monday 10th June prior to Fieldays, each of the finalists will then make their way to Fieldays, stopping in specific towns along the way to complete various tasks.
The winner will receive the following prize package
- $16,000 Suzuki Quad bike
- $2,000 Swanndri Prize Package
- $2,000 Gun City Prize Package
- $2,000 Stihl Prize Package
- $1,000 Skellerup Prize.

Kiwi's Best Kitchen
Tempt, Taste, Toast
Kiwi’s Best Kitchen is an exclusive area designed to showcase quality New Zealand food and beverages; providing Fieldays visitors with a unique Kiwi food, beverage, cooking and kitchen experience. Masterchef Judge, Josh Emett will also be cooking and demonstrating daily. In addition he will be available to meet after his demonstrations on the Chef Series site (KB1) within the Kiwi’s Best Kitchen exhibition area.

The 2013 Fieldays Premier Feature theme, Getting down to Business in the Global Economy is highly relevant as global demands soar and New Zealand strives to become internationally recognised as having the capabilities to feed the world.
