Auckland woman wins $57,000+ Fieldays Super Saturday prize package
Auckland’s Tash Jefferies is celebrating after being drawn as the winner of the Fieldays Super Saturday Prize, taking home a Prodigy Hot Spring five-person spa pool and a CFMOTO CFORCE 400 EPS, with a combined value of more than $57,000, thanks to rova. Tash’s prize package will allow her to make the most of the New Zealand lifestyle, combining relaxation at home with outdoor adventure.
The prize was drawn following Super Saturday at Fieldays, the final day of the four-day event, where thousands of visitors made their way through the gates at Mystery Creek.
Super Saturday featured a packed programme of entertainment, competition and family-friendly activities, giving visitors one last chance to enjoy Fieldays before the event wrapped up. Highlights included the high-speed Red Bull Cut It lawnmower races, the Fieldays Tractor Pull finals, the Fieldays Excavator Competition and a range of activities for the whole family.
To enter, visitors simply needed to personalise their Fieldays ticket and attend Fieldays on Saturday 13 June. Entrants could also gain additional entries by visiting the rova site.
Fieldays Event Producer, Karina Missen, says it took a couple of attempts to get hold of Tash, which made finally delivering the exciting news even more special.
“It was a great moment when we finally got through to Tash and could share the news. It’s always exciting to tell someone they’ve won, but knowing she had taken home such an incredible combination of prizes made the call even more exciting,” says Karina.
“Super Saturday is about creating a memorable day out for visitors, and this prize was a great way to add to the excitement. We’re incredibly grateful to rova for helping bring it together.”
Nick Fisher, Head of Rural at MediaWorks, says “The rova Super Saturday competition was a no-brainer – bringing together some of our key partners, including CFMOTO and Hot Spring Spas, with the power of rova to create something genuinely exciting for the Fieldays audience. It gave people another great reason to head along on Saturday, while giving our partners a high-impact way to connect with thousands of Fieldays visitors. It’s a great example of how we can bring our brands, audiences and commercial partners together to create a promotion that delivers for everyone.”
For Tash, the win was an unexpected end to an already memorable first Fieldays experience; “We’ve wanted a spa pool for years and had come close to buying an inflatable one, so winning this was such an amazing surprise. My husband has been trying to convince me to come to Fieldays for about five years, and I’m so glad he finally did! We had a fantastic time, and this was the perfect way to top it off.”
Beyond the excitement of the giveaway, Fieldays continues to play an important role in bringing New Zealand’s rural and urban communities together. For nearly six decades, the event has been a place to connect, do business, discover new ideas and showcase the innovation shaping the future of agriculture and primary industries. With the support of its partners and exhibitors, Fieldays remains committed to strengthening those connections and creating opportunities for the generations to come.
