Media Accreditation Conditions of Use
- Fieldays media accreditation is issued for Fieldays 2026 only and does not permit admission to any other event held at the venue.
- The holder of media accreditation agrees to abide by the rules, conditions and limitations imposed by the organisers to ensure the proper and safe running of the event and to display their accreditation at all times when on the Fieldays site.
- MediaWorks is the exclusive Media Partner of Fieldays 2026. Broadcasts from within the Fieldays platform including off specific exhibitor sites without prior permission is not permitted.
- In the Media Centre please be considerate of those around you and use headphones when editing/listening to audio.
- Media releases and other information relevant to the media will be emailed to you or can be accessed via the media portal. You may unsubscribe by emailing marketing@fieldays.co.nz
- The information collected through this process is for the accreditation of bona fide media, it is for the use of the event organisers only. You have the right to access and correct the information you have supplied. The provision of information is mandatory for official accreditation.
- For purposes of the Privacy Act, the agency is identified as being: New Zealand National Fieldays Society, Mystery Creek Events Centre

FAQ's
Yes. Live broadcast is permitted at Fieldays subject to media accreditation approval. Please apply for media accreditation and outline your intent. Broadcast does not include any onsite promotional activity, signage promoting the broadcast, competitions, giveaways, product sampling or other in-person promotional activity pre, during or post Fieldays.
No. The use of the Fieldays brand is reserved for Fieldays Media Partner, MediaWorks. Media outlets broadcasting onsite may use the term ‘Fieldays’ as the location for their broadcast but the use of the brand is not permitted.

No. Media doesn’t meet the exhibiting criteria for its own site. The Media Centre is available for accredited media, and on-site broadcast must be approved by Fieldays before the event.

A provable and ongoing relationship between the media outlet and the exhibitor must be in place for a minimum of three months prior to Fieldays. This requirement ensures that media are not entering into short‑term, paid arrangements with multiple exhibitors for the purpose of commercialising their onsite broadcasting.
Media may be asked to provide documentation demonstrating the established relationship as part of their Media Accreditation.
Drones are strictly not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made with Fieldays before the event.
No. Promotional and commercial gain from leveraging the Fieldays event is restricted to paying exhibitors and commercial partners.
