Yes, you can – and we encourage you to! You are best suited to enter Prototype Innovation category where you can showcase ideas, design and prototypes that have the potential to improve rural practices

Yes! We love seeing businesses evolve each year. However, you will need to enter a different category, or have made significant changes to your innovation. We have two categories that are great for returning entrants: Early Stage and Growth & Scale.

Absolutely! It is not a criteria requirement, but if you would like to show us your innovation and personality, add a link to a video in your application.

Yes! The Fieldays Innovation Hub sites are for Innovation Award participants only. The Hub is a key destination for visitors, fellow exhibitors, and members of the media to come to learn about innovation in the primary industries. Hub sites include walls, flooring, power, lighting and a furniture package. Learn more.

Yes! The Fieldays Innovation Hub sites are for Innovation Award participants only. The Hub is a key destination for visitors, fellow exhibitors, and members of the media to come to learn about innovation in the primary industries.

No, the site fee is included in your entry fee.

The Innovation Hub site includes:

  • A 3m wide x 3m deep site footprint within the Fieldays Innovation Hub, with the following provided:

              o             Walls                    

                                 · 2.3 m high black frontrunner Velcro receptive panels, 32mm thick.

                                 · Back wall - 3m wide by 2.3 high

                                 · Side walls - 2m wide by 2.3m high

              o             Furniture – a table, 2 x stools and flooring (carpet tiles)

              o             Company identification sign including stand number (600mm wide and 1.2m high)

              o             Power – one 10 amp, 3-pin connection with a 4 plug multi-board

              o             Lighting – general overhead lighting, and 2 x wall-mounted spotlights per site

              o             General Hub wifi. You can purchase a wired connection with a router in the portal.

Yes, we want to make sure that your innovation is presented in the best possible light by engaging with as many Fieldays visitors. You’ll receive eight single day exhibitor event tickets.

50+. The exact layout is dependent on how many finalists we have in each category.

  • Prototype $400 + GST
  • Early Stage $1,500 + GST
  • Growth & Scale $1,500 + GST

Alternate fee options for Current Exhibitors:

This refers to Exhibitors who already have a confirmed site at Fieldays, and do not wish to have an additional site within the Innovations Hub.

This fee includes an entry into the awards only.

  • Prototype $400 + GST
  • Early Stage $700 + GST
  • Growth & Scale $700 + GST

You sure can, if you are in either the Early Stage or Growth & Scale Category. Prototype entrants cannot sell their innovations.

As innovation is a dynamic arena, entrants may provide additional information regarding their entry after being accepted into the awards, but before entry closing. Please email any additional information to be included in the entry to the Programme Manager at innovation@fieldays.co.nz
