About Fieldays

Fieldays is the cornerstone event of the New Zealand National Fieldays Society. As the largest agribusiness event in the Southern Hemisphere, every year Fieldays attracts over 130,000 from all over the world over four days in June. Fieldays presents New Zealand’s agricultural and primary sector with an international marketplace to advance agriculture, while honouring our four pillars – innovation, education, technology and internationalisation.

50th Anniversary

The year Fieldays will celebrate its 50th year as one of New Zealand’s most iconic events, showcasing the very best of agriculture. A committee of past National Fieldays Society presidents and members will help New Zealand National Fieldays Staff organise the 2018 Fieldays plus extra events including a local museum exhibition and a history book.

To celebrate the milestone event the theme for the event is ‘future of farming’. Staying true to Fieldays original objectives of advanced agriculture through innovations, technology, education and internationalisation, Fieldays has remained focused on the vision that our forefathers envisioned of all those years ago.
